Volleyball Recap: Troy Falls to Utica Eisenhower in First Game of Season

Troy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Utica Eisenhower Eagles on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11.

Utica Eisenhower pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Troy will square off against Lakeland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Utica Eisenhower, they will challenge Stoney Creek at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
