Softball Recap: Leipsic Comes Up Short

Leipsic managed to slip by McComb the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Panthers on Monday, falling 15-4. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leipsic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for McComb, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Leipsic will take on Columbus Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McComb, they will face off against Perry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Commodores have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 21.4 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
