Basketball Recap: Round Rock's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Round Rock won the last time they faced Hutto and things went their way on Friday too. The Round Rock Dragons came out on top against the Hutto Hippos by a score of 55-42. The Dragons pushed the score to 40-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hippos cut but never quite recovered from.

The win was the fifth in a row for Round Rock, bringing their record for this year to 18-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Hutto, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Round Rock will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Round Rock Westwood at 1:00 p.m. on December 31st. Hutto and Bridge City will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
