Basketball Recap: Kress Takes a Loss

Kress was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 53-23 loss at the hands of the Silverton Owls. The Kangaroos were probably out for revenge after losing 61-43 to them when the teams met back in November of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kress' defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Silverton, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-15.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Springlake-Earth the next time they take the court. Silverton will host Springlake-Earth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Kress will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
