Soccer Recap: Corbin Comes Up Short

After flying high against Barbourville last Tuesday, Corbin came back down to earth. The Redhounds fell just short of the Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Corbin in their meetings with Oneida Baptist Institute: they've now lost three in a row.

Corbin's loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Oneida Baptist Institute, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Corbin nor Oneida Baptist Institute have any future games scheduled.
