Basketball Recap: Classical Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-24, which was the final score in the Classical Prep Lions's tilt against the Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix on Tuesday.

Leading Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate to victory were Kaiden Martin and Jeremiyah Shepeard. Martin shot 86% from the field to rack up 15 points and five boards, while Shepeard went 6-for-8 en route to 15 points. Shepeard is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Munashe Madzvimbo, who posted six points and six rebounds.

Classical Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Classical Prep will head out to face off against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, they will welcome King at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
