Soccer Recap: Miramonte Plays to a Tie

On Tuesday, neither the Miramonte Matadors nor the College Park Falcons could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Kyle Mathews hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Miramonte's goal came courtesy of James Rogers, who's now up to five this season.

With that draw, Miramonte's record moves to 3-2-5. As for College Park, they moved theirs to 3-6-2.

Miramonte wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against Benicia on the 23rd. College Park has also already played their next contest (against Berean Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
