Volleyball Recap: Legacy's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It's playoff time, and Legacy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coronado Cougars on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Lightning as they're now sitting on three straight.

Elijah Pulliam paced Legacy's offense, picking up ten kills. Pulliam got some help from Rafael Urbina and his 33 assists. Finally, Caden Ulibarri kept Legacy's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Coronado, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-5.

Coincidentally, Legacy and Coronado will both be playing Overland the next time they take the court. The Lightning will head out to face the Trailblazers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
