The Hornets will head out to square off against the Scots at 6:00 p.m. Vincent Memorial took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Calipatria, who comes in off a win.

Calipatria faced off against Palo Verde Valley in a bug-themed battle on Thursday. The Hornets put the hurt on the Yellow Jackets with a sharp 3-0 win. The Hornets have beaten the Yellow Jackets the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Yellow Jackets has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Vincent Memorial suffered their biggest defeat since October 24, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Calexico. The loss continues a trend for the Scots in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-15.

Vincent Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Calipatria, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Calipatria took their win against Vincent Memorial in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
