Soccer Game Recap: Royse City vs. Rockwall-Heath

The Royse City Bulldogs lost against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Royse City fell just short of Rockwall-Heath by a score of 3-2. Royse City has struggled against Rockwall-Heath recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Abbie Wetzel wasn't going to let Rockwall-Heath walk away unscathed as she scored both of Royse City's goals. With that big game, she's now up to seven goals this season.

Royse City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Rockwall-Heath, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Royse City will take on Rockwall at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Rockwall knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Royse City likes a good challenge. As for Rockwall-Heath, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tyler Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tyler Legacy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Rockwall-Heath surely won't give up without a fight.
