Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plainfield South). They never let the Joliet Central Steelmen get on the board and left with a 49-0 victory on Friday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Steelmen recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Plainfield South's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Joliet Central, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
