Football Recap: C.B. Aycock Takes a Loss + How To Watch

C.B. Aycock had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it four. They were dealt a 58-7 defeat at the hands of the Northern Nash Knights. The Golden Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-7.

Sidney Lancaster threw for 85 yards on five of 15 attempts. Janeson Steele was his top target, picking up 53 receiving yards.

As for Northern Nash, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1. That 51 point margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Northern Nash's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Myles Eatmon led the charge by rushing for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. Eatmon is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Jah'Marzea Williams also helped out with an impressive 116 receiving yards.

Coming up, C.B. Aycock will face off against Rocky Mount at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Falcons will need to watch out since the Gryphons have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. As for Northern Nash, they will challenge Southern Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Saints' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
