It's playoff time, and Summit Christian Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 69-60 win over the Parkview Vikings on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won five games in a row.

Leading Summit Christian Academy to victory were Mike Thomas III and Grady Ellerman. Thomas III dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 boards, while Ellerman went 9-for-12 en route to 23 points. Thanks to that strong game, Ellerman now owns an excellent 46.8% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Max Rieger, who shot 45% from the field on his way to 13 points.

Summit Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.

Summit Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Parkview, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 15-11 record.

Summit Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-56 loss against Webster Groves on the 20th. Parkview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
