It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lincoln ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Fork Tigers, sneaking past 6-5. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for West Fork, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will venture away from home to face off against Booneville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Fork, they will host Greenland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
