Basketball Recap: Bishop LeBlond Takes a Loss

Bishop LeBlond lost against Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bishop LeBlond Eagles came up short against Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt], falling 58-36. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] are ranked 94th).

Bishop LeBlond has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt], they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Bishop LeBlond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 40-27 defeat against Savannah on the 30th. Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] has also already played their next match, a 66-23 win against Cameron on the 30th.
