Baseball Game Preview: Rensselaer Central Bombers vs. Hebron Hawks

The Rensselaer Central Bombers will challenge the Hebron Hawks at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Rensselaer Central has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 14.

Rensselaer Central lost 10-2 to West Lafayette on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Hebron was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against Kouts, falling 18-2. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hebron saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Mulhern, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Rensselaer Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Hebron, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1.

Rensselaer Central suffered a grim 12-4 defeat to Hebron in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Can the Bombers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
