Weiss had won 16 straight home games dating back to last season and Ashley Go did her part to make it 17 on Saturday. The Wolves came out on top against the Lake Belton Broncos by a score of 2-0 for which the team can thank Go, who had nine digs and four aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Weiss not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lake Belton between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

Weiss' victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Lake Belton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Weiss will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Austin at 6:30 p.m. on September 3. As for Lake Belton, they will square off against Glenn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
