Softball Recap: Saginaw Takes a Loss

Saginaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Granbury Pirates. The Rough Riders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Saginaw's record now sits at 2-11. As for Granbury, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8-1.

Coincidentally, Saginaw and Granbury will both be playing Azle the next time they take the field. Saginaw will head out to face Azle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Granbury will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
