Softball Recap: Greenbrier Find Success

While Greenbrier's win against Greeneville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Greenbrier skirted past Greeneville 6-4. Six seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The win made it two in a row for Greenbrier and bumps their season record up to 5-9. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Greeneville, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Greenbrier Bobcats duke it out with Macon County Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greeneville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against David Crockett on the 29th.
