Softball Recap: Wesley Chapel Victorious

Wesley Chapel hadn't done well against Sunlake recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wildcats walked away with a 5-2 win over the Seahawks. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Seahawks back in February, they had to take a 15-8 defeat.

Eliana Diaz was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Madisen Stewart, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Diaz wasn't the only one making solid contact: Wesley Chapel kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The Wildcats are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
