Volleyball Recap: Brennan Triumphs

Brennan picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past the Wylie Bulldogs 2-1.

Kiersten Rodriguez paced Brennan's offense, picking up 16 kills. Rodriguez were helped by Aviana Contreras and Rubie Mares, who contributed 15 assists each.

Brennan has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Wylie, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Brennan will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Joshua at 8:00 a.m. As for Wylie, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mansfield Summit on the 21st.
