Volleyball Recap: Indianapolis Arsenal Technical Comes Up Short

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Irvington Preparatory Academy, falling 3-0. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to Irvington Preparatory Academy from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-12.

Irvington Preparatory Academy was led to victory by Jason Norton and John Curry. Norton had 18 assists and four aces, while Curry had ten digs and two aces. Norton has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last six times he's played.

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-11.

Indianapolis Arsenal Technical has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Indianapolis Crispus Attucks on the 30th. As for Irvington Preparatory Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Park Tudor on the 29th.
