It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brandon had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Petal Panthers 39-10. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brandon was led to victory by Tyson Robinson and Jacob Chancellor. Robinson gained 195 total yards and three touchdowns, while Chancellor threw for 324 yards and four touchdowns. Quincy Phillips Jr. helped Chancellor out on the ground, picking up 133 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Another reason for the win was Brandon's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Khalil Norwood was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last three games he's played.
