Uintah has gone a perfect 7-0 against Mountain View recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Utes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bruins at 3:30 p.m. Uintah is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Uintah was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Wasatch on Friday. The Utes were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Wasps. The Utes haven't had any issues with the Wasps recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Lynlee Hall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Uintah got a big performance out of Kayla Olson, who scored a run while going 3-for-5. Those three hits gave Olson a new career-high. Sophia Pope was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Uintah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Mountain View came up short against Lone Peak on Monday and fell 9-6.
Maisy Odell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks.
At the plate, Saralynn Hair made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Clark, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.
Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Uintah, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
Mountain View's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Uintah has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Mountain View, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Uintah keep running through batters, or will the Bruins buck the trend?
Uintah beat Mountain View 8-4 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Utes repeat their success, or do the Bruins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
