Basketball Recap: Global Concepts Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Global Concepts extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Eric Davis. The Global Concepts Gators strolled past the Kennedy Bears with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 62-46 thanks in part to Davis, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Shawndale Lipscomb, who posted seven points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. What's more, he also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in December of 2023.

Global Concepts' record is now 3-0. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Global Concepts will take on Finney in a tournament on December 28th. One thing working in Global Concepts' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Kennedy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eden at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
