Soccer Recap: St. Anthony's Takes Down Ranked Seton Hall Prep

St. Anthony is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Seton Hall Prep. The Friars won by a goal and slipped past the Pirates 2-1.

Shane Rossiter and Jayden Crespi scored both of St. Anthony's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

St. Anthony's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Seton Hall Prep, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. Anthony's will face off against Chaminade at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chaminade's defense has only allowed 0.1 goals per game this season, so St. Anthony's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Seton Hall Prep, they will venture away from home to face off against Newark Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Newark Academy's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
