Baseball Recap: North Mesquite Takes a Loss

North Mesquite and Lake Belton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but North Mesquite had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Broncos. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Stallions have suffered since April 8th.

This is the second loss in a row for North Mesquite and nudges their season record down to 18-8-2. As for Lake Belton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5-2 record this season.

As of now, neither North Mesquite nor Lake Belton have any future games scheduled.
