Skyline can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They came out on top against the Viewmont Vikings by a score of 8-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-0 back in March.

Abe Wilson was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Cole Muse was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Skyline was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Viewmont only posted a batting average of .200.

Skyline's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Viewmont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Skyline will have a chance to go back-to-back against Viewmont: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
