Volleyball Game Preview: Wilmington Christian Warriors vs. Sanford Warriors

Wilmington Christian has gone 8-2 against Sanford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Wilmington Christian is taking a road trip to challenge Sanford at 6:45 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Wilmington Christian made easy work of Red Lion Christian Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Sanford hadn't done well against Wilmington Friends recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Quakers.

Wilmington Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Sanford, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Wilmington Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Sanford in their previous matchup two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wilmington Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
