Softball Recap: Sanger Apaches vs. Kerman Lions

While Sanger's win against Kerman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Apaches won by a run and slipped past the Lions 4-3. The Apaches haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Emma Hernandez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching four innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run.

In other pitching news, Maddi Arganda looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
