Baseball Recap: Athens' Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Athens finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the Central Red Devils, falling 6-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Golden Eagles were not able to get on the board.

With the defeat, Athens broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-5. As for Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7.
