Basketball Recap: Micah Quasula's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Music Mountain over Williams

If Music Mountain was riding high fresh off their 63-28 takedown of Rough Rock last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Music Mountain Warriors fell to the Williams Vikings 72-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (63), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Music Mountain lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Micah Quasula, who went 9 of 21 en route to 24 points and five steals. Quasula has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lonewolf Havatone, who went 10 of 17 on his way to 23 points.

Music Mountain's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Williams, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Music Mountain will take on Pinon at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Williams, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 69-28 defeat against Kingman Academy on the 11th.
