Basketball Game Preview: Providence Grove Patriots vs. Eastern Randolph Wildcats

The Providence Grove Patriots will face off against the Eastern Randolph Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Providence Grove escaped with a win against Wheatmore by the margin of a single free throw, 49-48. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Eastern Randolph got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They enjoyed a cozy 53-37 victory over Trinity on Tuesday.

Providence Grove's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points over those games. As for Eastern Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 6-15.
