Tonopah never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Beatty Hornets as Tonopah made off with an 18-0 victory. The Muckers haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Liberty Deck was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Tonopah let Hannah Baudoin and Alyssa Maurer run wild. Baudoin went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs, while Maurer went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs Maurer has posted since back in April of 2024. Tiffany Snyder was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Mineral County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Tonopah surely won't give up without a fight. As for Beatty, they are taking a road trip to challenge Beaver Dam at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Beaver Dam has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.33 runs per game on average), something Beatty will no doubt try to take advantage of.
