Mt. Pleasant came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 53-27 margin over the Jacksonville Fightin' Indians. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Jacksonville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.
