Basketball Recap: Bronson Gets the Win

Bronson was handed a 22-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Saint Francis Catholic Wolves, sneaking past 25-22. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-19 back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Saint Francis Catholic had strong showings from Allie Dey, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds, and Audrey Whisler, who posted seven points and three steals. Dey has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 11 times she's played. Magen Collett also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Bronson now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Saint Francis Catholic, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Oak Hall the next time they take the court. Bronson will host Oak Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Saint Francis Catholic will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
