Basketball Recap: Pontiac Takes a Loss

If Pontiac was feeling good fresh off their 61-26 takedown of St. Thomas More last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pontiac Indians took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seneca Fighting Irish on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 47-43 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2022.

Pontiac now has a losing record of 15-16. As for Seneca, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

Coming up, Pontiac will challenge Kankakee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
