Volleyball Recap: Washington Tigers vs. Steele Comets

Washington and Steele squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Washington had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Steele Comets. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured ten losses in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-13.

Roxy Trunzo went supernova for Steele, getting 15 digs and three aces. Trunzo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 17 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dani Dury, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Steele, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-11.

Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Steele, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Austintown-Fitch on the 26th.
