Baseball Recap: Keefe Tech Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Advanced Math & Science Academy, Keefe Tech was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Lynn Vo-Tech Tigers by a score of 6-3.

Joey Secatore made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Secatore was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base. Secatore is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Jaxon Fertel was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-2. Chris Anastos was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Keefe Tech's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Lynn Vo-Tech, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Keefe Tech will head out to take on Montachusett RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lynn Vo-Tech, they will welcome Nashoba Valley Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
