Volleyball Recap: Smidt Tech Has No Trouble Against Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus

Smidt Tech's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Camino Nuevo Dalzell Lance Campus Tigers as Smidt Tech made off with a 3-0 win. For the Grey Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

While Smidt Tech won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-23.

Smidt Tech found their leader in sophomore Eddie Valentine-Juan, who had eight aces.

Smidt Tech was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 35 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 17 aces in three consecutive matches.
