West Brunswick has gone 8-2 against Ashley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trojans will look to defend their home field against the Screaming Eagle at 7:00 p.m. West Brunswick will be strutting in after a victory while Ashley will be coming in after a loss.

West Brunswick's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Topsail with a sharp 21-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won three contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Josiah Borton was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.

West Brunswick's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4. As for Ashley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. West Brunswick has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 165.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Ashley struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 187.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
