Soccer Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Lakeside's offense. They fell 2-0 to the East Valley Knights on Monday. Lakeside have struggled against East Valley recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-2. As for East Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4-3 record this season.

Lakeside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-1 victory against Medical Lake on the 14th. As for East Valley, they will square off against North Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
