Baseball Recap: Trumann Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Trumann was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 12-2 to the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Trumann saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryker Shuburte, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Trumann now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Buffalo Island Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Trumann will square off against Westside at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buffalo Island Central, they will take on Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
