Basketball Game Preview: Del Rio Rams vs. United Longhorns

Del Rio hasn't had much luck against United recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Del Rio Rams will be playing at home against the United Longhorns at 6:00 p.m.

Del Rio is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They were dealt an 89-43 loss at the hands of Alexander. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 879th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 66th).

Meanwhile, United came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 61-59.

Del Rio's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for United, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.
