Soccer Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short

Hillsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Miami Trace Panthers. Hillsboro were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Miami Trace earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Kobie Miles wasn't going to let Miami Trace walk away unscathed as she scored both of Hillsboro's goals, bringing her season total up to 21 goals.

Hillsboro now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Miami Trace, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.

Hillsboro didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Chillicothe on the 23rd. As for Miami Trace, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Circleville on the 20th.
