Flag Football Game Preview: Immaculate Conception Spartans vs. Burton Pumas

The Immaculate Conception Spartans will head out to square off against the Burton Pumas at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Immaculate Conception 14.3, Burton 9.9) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Wednesday, Immaculate Conception was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 12-6 to Mission. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Burton came up short against Lowell last Friday and fell 21-14. The loss continues a trend for the Pumas in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Burton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Immaculate Conception, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Immaculate Conception might still be hurting after the 33-7 defeat they got from Burton in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
