Basketball Recap: Keith Kliewer Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Superior

There's no place like home for Sutton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 64-45 victory over the Superior Wildcats on Friday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Sutton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keith Kliewer, who went 5-for-7 en route to 13 points. That's the most points Kliewer has posted since back in December of 2024. Aidan Jones was another key player, going 6-for-13 on his way to 14 points.

Looking ahead, Sutton will take on South Loup on Tuesday. Sutton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season. As for Superior, they will face off against Twin River at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Superior is facing Twin River at the right time seeing as Twin River is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
