For the second straight game, Morgan will face off against Philo. The Raiders will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Electrics at 5:00 p.m. Morgan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
Morgan couldn't beat Philo on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Raiders lost 17-7 to the Electrics.
For Philo's part, Lexie Charles made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off 13 hits. Charles was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with five RBI.
In other batting news, Philo got a massive performance out of Kyleigh McGraw, who went 3-for-5 with one home run and five RBI. That's the most RBI McGraw has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lia Unger, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Philo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Philo, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
