Basketball Game Preview: Foster Bulldogs vs. R.A. Long Lumberjacks

The Foster Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the R.A. Long Lumberjacks at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Foster comes in on seven and R.A. Long on 18.

Foster will bounce into Saturday's match after beating Renton, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. In a tight game that could have gone either way, Foster made off with a 61-60 win over Renton.

Foster's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Myjeer Rigney led the charge by to rack up 17 points along with five assists and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Rigney a new career-high in field goal percentage (54%). Another player making a difference was Jeremiah White, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards.

Meanwhile, R.A. Long won against Mark Morris on Friday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. R.A. Long beat Mark Morris by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 57-52.

Foster's record now sits at 18-7. As for R.A. Long, they pushed their record up to 23-1 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.
