Soccer Recap: Roeper Comes Up Short

After flying high against Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit on Monday, Roeper came back down to earth. The Roughriders came up short against the Inter-City Baptist Chargers on Tuesday, falling 5-0. Roeper were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Inter-City Baptist earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Roeper's defeat dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Inter-City Baptist, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3-4.

Coincidentally, Roeper and Inter-City Baptist will both be playing Oakland Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Chargers will host the Lancers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Roughriders will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
